My Baby and I project - week 4

Andrew is usually so happy and smiley while we change his diaper and dress him so I tried to take advantage of that to capture some cute shots. Today was no exception but these shots were hard to get so he started to get a little annoyed with me I think!

Happy Inauguration Day! Today was a big day for us - we had Andrew's 2 month well baby visit and got a new president!

Andrew weighed in at 11 pounds 8.5 ounces and was 24.75 inches long. That makes him in the 95th percentile for height and 50-75th percentile for weight. He got 5 vacinations - 4 shots and one oral dosage and he did so well! Only cried a little bit then had a small snack and fell asleep for over an hour which is a LONG time for him to sleep compared to recent days! He's been on a strike against sleep for the past few days although never has been a long sleeper. He's smiling and "talking" a lot now and loves to lay on his play gym! He's found his hand and loves to slober all over it as he tries to stick the whole fist in that little mouth.

Also today was Barak Obabma's Inauguration. We decided to make the Photo project part of this historic day. Mommy has a terrible cold so excuse her messy appearance - here's a sequence of photos during the swearing in of the 44th president and his speech:

Some of my online friends have started a project to take a photo of us with our babies every week for a year. It's a great idea because lets face it, most of us don't like to be in photos but have tons of photos of our babies. I can go months without being in a photo which is a shame for when Andrew wants to see what we looked like on the normal days of life. It will be nice to look back and see how we've both changed over the year (hopefully we'll all see me shrinking to my previous size!!)! I hope I can keep up with it!

So Kim and I just bought a scanner on Amazon and have been scanning some old pictures into the PC. Here are some pictures from the baseball years. I'm sure we'll posting plenty more in the future as our quest to digitize our photo collection continues!
