Happy Four-monthiversary to us!

Well, today makes it 4 months we've been married. I can't say that we celebrated, just the normal lazy Sunday :-P

I practiced taking photos out of Auto mode with our camera. I'm not thrilled with the results, they look so much better on the LCD screen than the computer! Here are a couple straight out of the camera:

I blew it!

Once I found out about this project "A minute in the life", I couldn't stop thinking about it. Well, that's not at least until Saturday, June 2nd! I can't believe that for days I was thinking about what I could shoot (that was after I realized that June 2nd was a Saturday and I would be home, not in class, as my previous post states!) then totally spaced! I planned on getting a great shot with our new DSLR. I've been reading up on it and was ready.

Saturday I dilly-dallied around for a most of the morning. I started reading for my class and fell asleep (Textbooks on water systems are not very entertaining!). When I woke up Duane was running out to Target and I needed to start to get ready for Andy and Mandy's post wedding party. It wasn't until the shower was running and it was 10 mintutes from shooting time that I remembered. I paniced, didn't have an idea of what to shoot so I threw my Point and shoot in it's waterproof case and took it in the shower with me! I imagined I could still get a cool water shot but the lighting was pretty bad and the hot water steamed up the camera case! Here's the result and what I submitted. I'm such a dork (but it really is what I was doing at 2 PM est on June 2, 2007)!
